Commercial & Marketing Programme Manager

Our Organisation:

The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England. We are responsible for promoting and developing the game at all levels; from grass roots through to the professional game, The FA Cup and the England International teams, and has two core assets: Wembley Stadium and St George’s Park.

The Role:

This new position will conduct the role of an internal management consult to lead and advise on key strategic projects and programmes within the Commercial & Marketing Division.

The role holder will identify and manage key strategic initiatives that require programme delivery support from concept through to delivery and management

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Acting as an internal consultant to the division, you’ll lead on the feasibility planning, design and delivery of key strategic projects and programmes, ensuring they’re aligned to The FA’s Strategic Plan
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis for new projects, advising the Commercial & Marketing Director on which projects to pursue.
  • Design and own the KPI framework and Monitoring and Evaluation Processes for each of the strategic goals
  • Develop the divisional action plan , tracking and reporting on progress 
  • Collect relevant data on performance to identify ROI and produce reports and recommendations for improvements

The Person:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience;

  • Proven track record in management consultancy
  • Proven skill in stakeholder management – both internal and external
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful strategies and policies at senior level
  • Extensive experience of successful programme and project management in a variety of complex environments
  • Excellent core project management skills
  • Excellent software skills, including project management software, Microsoft office, internet applications and databases
  • High Level Data analysis and modelling
