PA to HR Director & Team Coordinator

Our Organisation:

The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England. We are responsible for promoting and developing the game at all levels; from grass roots through to the professional game, The FA Cup and the England International teams, and has two core assets: Wembley Stadium and St George’s Park.

The role:

To provide high level organisational and administrative support to the HR Director and where appropriate, her direct reports. Supporting the team with HR projects and events.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • To provide a professional, efficient, administrative and secretarial support service for the HR Director, showing initiative and drive
  • Pro-active management of the HR Director’s emails and diary to include organising travel and accommodation
  • Support the HR Director with preparing board papers, presentations and letters as required
  • Collating papers and writing minutes for the Remuneration Committee
  • To provide administrative support to the HR team with all-staff engagement events and learning & development training sessions
  • Claiming expenses and raising purchase orders on behalf of the HR function
  • Organisation of HR team meetings and events
  • Promote a positive, friendly and inclusive attitude
  • To maintain and develop key internal and external relationships
  • To provide flexible administrative support to the HR function on an ad-hoc basis
  • Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet the FA Group’s changing priorities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a PA/Team Coordinator role
  • Experience of working in an HR team environment is desirable but not essential
  • Pro-active and positive attitude
  • Excellent IT skills, high level of experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of dealing with highly sensitive information discreetly and confidentially
