St George’s Park (SGP) is The FA Group’s headquarters for The FA Football Development team and home of FA Learning, training home of the 24 England representative teams. Situated 4 miles away from Burton–upon-Trent, SGP was opened October 2012. The vision for SGP is:
  • To become a training destination of choice for coaches, players, administrators and officials from all backgrounds and communities within football and beyond;
  • To become the home of English football development, bringing to life and embodying the ‘whole-game’ coaching and playing philosophy outlined in The FA’s Technical Guide, The Future Game;
  • To become a one-stop coaching and support environment which enhances personal development, leadership qualities, rehabilitation and fitness;
  • To offer all its facilities and services beyond sport and facilitate cross-learning between the sporting and business sectors. 
The purpose of the Tutor Workforce Co-ordinator role is to:
  • Provide administrative support to one or more FA Learning disciplines to maintain and develop their tutor workforce (Coaching, Refereeing, Medical, Disability , Safeguarding & Equality)
  • Co-ordinate the administration and delivery of any new tutor recruitment and manage the CPD requirements of existing tutors through the organisation of national, regional and county CPD events
  • Provide data management support to the Senior Co-ordinator through maintaining tutor records, quarterly reporting and regular updates to the tutor workforce as well as administrating the quality assurance process of tutors set out by FAL and the Head of each Discipline
  • To undertake a range of additional specific FA Learning projects to support the strategic work of the department, promoting the FAL and SGP brand and values both internally and externally 
Successful candidates must possess the following;
· Enthusiastic, confident and helpful nature
· Numeracy skills
· Accurate typing skills
· Sound knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and the internet
· Willing to learn and committed to personal development
· Office and administration experience, including providing support to others in a busy team environment
· Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach
· Excellent communication skills
With proven ability to;
· Work well as part of a team with the confidence to contribute to team ideas and the departmental and divisional strategy
· Deal with ‘external’ customers and suppliers on the telephone and in writing
· Work in a fast paced working environment, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and use own initiative to drive and implement changes when needed.
· Ability to organise and administer events
· Take ownership of small projects and seeing them through to completion
The following would be advantageous but not essential:
· Interest in football
· Knowledge and understanding of The FA educational structure
· Event management experience
· Support of staff training & development programmes
