Head Coach Under-21 England Men's Team
The Football Association – Wembley Stadium & St George’s Park
The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England and is responsible for promoting and developing the game at all levels from grassroots through to the professional game and the England International teams.
The FA is recruiting for an England Under-21 Head Coach who will be a proven leader with a wealth of coaching experience. The role will report into the Director of Elite Development and Club England Board to strategically oversee the England Men’s Development Teams (U16-U20).
The successful applicant will work closely with the England Senior Team Manager in relation to selecting squads, ensuring player development is prioritised and appropriate support provided to the Senior Team. Furthermore, they will support the Head of Talent ID in delivering a structured Scouting Programme for all Development teams.
A successful and consistent track record of high performance in a professional environment is required.A good communicator, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with players, coaches and stakeholders across the game.
You must have achieved the UEFA Pro Diploma/Licence or FA Coaching Diploma holder. The successful candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of International Football and be committed to the long term development of the game.
